This survey project, prepared for the Roman-era city wall remains located in Çatalca, Istanbul, aims to document the current state of the structure with all its physical and structural characteristics. Within the scope of the study, the stone masonry character of the city walls, material variations, joint structure, types of deterioration, and traces of intervention over time have been analyzed in detail.

During the survey process, in-situ measurement techniques and photogrammetric data were used to accurately assess the building's original mass effect and structural behavior; plans, sections, and elevations were reproduced with high precision based on the obtained data. This clearly revealed deformations, losses, and additions to the structure.

The prepared survey drawings are not limited to merely identifying the current state, but are also designed to provide a reliable basis for possible restoration and conservation interventions. The project aims to contribute to the sustainability of cultural heritage by scientifically documenting the surviving traces of Roman-era defensive structures.
