Located in the Karataş region, this historical fountain is an important example of civil architecture reflecting the cultural memory of its settlement. Over time, due to environmental influences and user interventions, partial deterioration has been observed in its original character. The prepared survey project aims to document the current state of the structure using scientific and technical methods.
Within the scope of the study, the fountain's plans, elevations, and sections were obtained through detailed measurements; material properties, construction techniques, and types of deterioration were meticulously analyzed. All architectural elements forming the character of the stone masonry system, water reservoir, niche arrangement, and facade were examined on-site and transferred to drawings.
The prepared survey drawings serve as a fundamental reference for accurately understanding the building's original identity and for creating a solid data infrastructure for future restoration interventions.
