This survey project prepared for the historical fountain located in Kavaklı aims to document the current condition of the structure in all its details. Within the scope of the study, the stone masonry system, material characteristics, surface deteriorations, and periodic interventions of the fountain were examined on-site; measurements were taken using precise methods and transferred to drawings.
In particular, the original details of the facade design, niche form, and water feature have been analyzed to provide data for the restitution and restoration processes. Deformations and material losses the structure has undergone over time have been identified, and comprehensive documentation has been carried out to accurately assess its current condition.
The prepared survey drawings provide a scientific basis for preserving the original identity of the fountain and ensuring its healthy transmission to future generations.
