Referencing Gaziantep's strong historical fabric, this project proposes a city square that reinterprets not only the formal elements but also the spatial organization principles of traditional architecture. The courtyard typology, arcaded circulation axes, and water feature are conceived as a backbone that is harmonious with the climate and encourages public life. The reflection pool located in the center and the open space surrounding it function as both a gathering and transit area, while the building masses form a perimeter defining this space. Instead of directly imitating historical references, the project aims to reproduce them in a contemporary language. Thus, the square becomes not only a public space but also a living urban scene carrying the cultural continuity of Gaziantep.
